The hotel that made us slow down. The church where everyone looked up. The café we still talk about years later. Those moments changed the standard for how we wanted to travel, and eventually, how we wanted to live. Seven Well Traveled is where we collect those places, those details, and everything they continue to shape after we've unpacked.
This isn't just about where we go. It's about what we bring home. The hotel we'll recommend for years. The destination we'll return to. The details that find their way into our own home. The moments that quietly become part of everyday life.
behind the brand
I'm Brittany—wife, mother of five, and the writer behind Seven Well Traveled. I've always been drawn to the things that give a place its character—its architecture, its interiors, its hospitality, and the quiet details that are easy to miss. Somewhere along the way, my children started noticing them too. This is where I document the places that stay with us—and the ways they continue shaping how we live once we're home.
We have five children who have learned to stop at doorways, look up at ceilings, and notice the light in a room before anything else. We didn't teach them that. Travel did.
What I'm
noticing
Destinations that reward the traveler who slows down. The courtyard almost everyone walks past. The room at the end of the hall. The details at eye level for a five-year-old.
What I'm
learning
The details we notice while traveling are teaching our children how to see. That may be the best souvenir we ever bring home.
what
comes home
Beautiful places leave something behind in us. They shape the way we live at home, the way we welcome people, and the way we raise our children.
What I'm
leaving behind
Travel treated like a checklist. Hotels that don't care about design. Destinations measured only by what they let you cross off. The kind of travel that leaves you with photographs, but nothing that changes how you see.
